What is a doula?
A doula is a trained professional that provides new parents with emotional support during labor, postpartum, or arrival home after adopting a newborn. A postpartum doula can assist the family with light household tasks, evidenced-based recommendations on infant care, product selection and use, and infant feeding in their home.
